About Lumeva Wellness

About Lumeva Wellness: A Minneapolis Mental Health Clinic for Adults

Lumeva Wellness is an outpatient mental health clinic in Minneapolis for adults 18 and older, offering therapy, psychiatric care and ARMHS in person or by telehealth. We built it around a simple idea: mental health care should feel like a partnership, not a transaction.
This page explains who we are, what we believe, who provides your care and how to reach us, so you can decide whether we are the right fit before you call.

Who we are

What is Lumeva Wellness and who do we care for?

We are a clinic where adults can receive therapy, psychiatric evaluation with medication management, and ARMHS in one place. Outpatient means scheduled visits with no hospital stay.
Some people begin with one kind of care and add another later. Others come for a single need. Either way is welcome, and you do not have to know in advance which one you need.
Learn more about each one:
Counseling and therapy: one-on-one sessions with a therapist
ARMHS: skills support at home and in the community
Our story

Why did we start Lumeva Wellness?

We started this clinic because adults deserve mental health care that listens, explains itself and stays connected from one visit to the next.
Long waits and rushed visits are a common frustration in mental health care. Advice can arrive with little explanation, and follow-up can feel thin.
We wanted to offer something different: therapy and psychiatric care at one clinic, so your providers can work from the same picture of you. Today, we offer all three kinds of care, in person or by telehealth.
Our mission

“Our mission is to provide personalized, evidence-based mental health care for adults in a calm, welcoming setting, helping each person build resilience, restore hope and move toward wellness.”

In plain terms
Personalized
Your plan starts with your life, not a template.
Evidence-based
Our recommendations rest on current clinical research.
A calm setting
You can take your time.
What we believe

Lumeva Wellness mental health clinic: what do we believe?

Three beliefs shape every appointment: compassion comes first, care should be evidence-based rather than trend-based, and you are a whole person, not a list of symptoms.

Compassion, always first

Every plan starts with listening, not diagnosing. We want to understand your life before we talk about treatment.

Evidence-based, not trend-based

Recommendations are grounded in current clinical research and explained in plain language, so you understand the reason behind them.

The whole person, not just symptoms

Sleep, work, relationships and physical health all shape mental health, so all of them factor into your plan.
Your plan

How do we build your care plan?

We build your plan around you: we start by understanding your history and goals, choose approaches that fit, and adjust the plan as your needs change.
1

We listen first

We ask about your history, what you have already tried and what feeling better would look like to you.
2

We choose approaches that fit

That may be therapy, medication, ARMHS support or a combination, and we explain the reason for each recommendation.
3

We revisit the plan

As things change, we look at what is working and make adjustments with you.
4

Nothing is decided for you

You always have a say in the next step.
Our team

Who provides care at Lumeva Wellness?

Care comes from three kinds of providers: therapists, prescribing providers and ARMHS practitioners.
Therapists lead one-on-one sessions using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and trauma-informed care.
Prescribing providers carry out psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
ARMHS practitioners work in the home and community to build daily living and coping skills. Minnesota sets the eligibility rules for ARMHS.
Because these providers work at one clinic, the aim is fewer repeated stories, fewer mixed messages and a clearer path forward for you.
Who we serve

Who do we serve?

We serve adults 18 and older, at every stage of adult life. Focusing on adults lets us go deeper on the concerns we see most often:
Anxiety disorders
Major depression
ADHD diagnosed in adulthood
Bipolar disorder
PTSD and trauma responses
Long-term management of persistent mental illness through ARMHS
Whether you are seeking care for the first time or looking for a clinic to stay with, you are welcome here. Still deciding whether it is time? Our guide on how to know if you need therapy may help.
Finding the right fit

Is Lumeva Wellness the right fit for me?

We are a good fit if you are an adult looking for scheduled therapy or psychiatric care, and not the right fit if you need emergency help right now or care for a child.
We may be a good fit if you:
Are 18 or older
Want therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, or both
Prefer telehealth, in-person visits, or a mix of the two
Are looking for skills support through ARMHS and may meet Minnesota’s eligibility rules
We are not the right fit if you:
Need emergency or crisis help right now (call 911, or call or text 988)
Are under 18
Need care that requires a hospital stay
Not sure which describes you? You are welcome to contact us and ask.
